Make a rich, cheesy white pizza without tomato sauce using a simple garlic-infused ricotta base. This recipe delivers restaurant-style flavor for your next pizza night.
Preheat your oven to 475 degrees Fahrenheit (245 degrees Celsius). Place a pizza stone or baking sheet in the oven while it preheats.
In a small bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, minced garlic, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, salt, and pepper. Mix until the ingredients are fully incorporated into a creamy white pizza sauce.
Stretch or roll out your pizza dough to your desired thickness, about 12 to 14 inches in diameter. Brush the edges of the dough lightly with olive oil.
Spread the ricotta mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border for the crust. This is your creamy white pizza sauce base.
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the ricotta layer. Top with the grated Parmesan cheese.
Carefully transfer the pizza onto the preheated pizza stone or baking sheet.
Bake for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove the pizza from the oven. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
Notes
For a crispier crust, use a pizza stone and allow it to preheat for at least 30 minutes.
