A simple, versatile vinaigrette recipe you can make in a jar for easy salad meal prep.

Ingredients

  • 3 parts olive oil
  • 1 part vinegar (red wine, balsamic, or apple cider)
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon sweetener (honey or maple syrup), optional
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a mason jar.
  2. Seal the jar tightly.
  3. Shake well until the dressing is emulsified.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  5. Store in the refrigerator.

Notes

  • For a lemon vinaigrette, substitute lemon juice for half of the vinegar.
