A fresh and creamy Greek yogurt sauce with cucumber and herbs, perfect as a dip or condiment.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cucumber, grated and squeezed dry
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh mint, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, dill, mint, lemon juice, and olive oil.
  2. Stir well to combine all ingredients.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to your preference.
  4. For best flavor, let the sauce chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Squeeze as much liquid as possible from the grated cucumber to prevent a watery sauce.
  • Adjust garlic and herbs to your taste.
  • Serve with grilled meats, vegetables, pita bread, or as a dip for appetizers.
