Ingredients
Scale
1.5 pounds Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
8 ounces bacon, chopped
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Optional: 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a large bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet, cut-side down if possible.
Scatter the chopped bacon over the Brussels sprouts.
Roast for 20-25 minutes, or until the Brussels sprouts are tender and caramelized, and the bacon is crispy. Stir halfway through.
If using, drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.
Notes
For extra crispy sprouts, ensure they are dry before tossing with oil.
Cut larger sprouts in half again for even cooking.
