A fast and fresh restaurant-style blender salsa with bright cilantro and lime flavors, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1/2 cup chopped yellow onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 12 jalapeños, seeded and minced (adjust to your spice preference)
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender.
  2. Pulse until the salsa reaches your desired consistency. For a chunkier salsa, pulse fewer times. For a smoother salsa, blend longer.
  3. Taste and adjust seasonings if needed. Add more salt, lime juice, or jalapeño for extra flavor or heat.
  4. Transfer to a bowl and serve immediately with tortilla chips.

Notes

  • For a spicier salsa, leave some seeds in the jalapeños or add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
  • For a milder salsa, remove all seeds and membranes from the jalapeños.
  • This salsa is best served fresh but can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
