Make this juicy pork tenderloin recipe in the oven for a flavorful, easy weeknight dinner. This glazed pork tenderloin is simple to prepare and cooks quickly for a tender roast.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (about 1.5 lb) pork tenderloin
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Pat the pork tenderloin dry with paper towels. Rub the entire surface with olive oil.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Rub this spice blend evenly over the pork tenderloin.
  4. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, and minced garlic to create the glaze.
  5. Place the seasoned pork tenderloin on the prepared baking sheet. Brush half of the honey garlic glaze over the top of the pork.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes.
  7. Remove the pork from the oven and brush the remaining glaze over the top. Return to the oven.
  8. Continue baking for another 5 to 10 minutes, or until an instant-read thermometer inserted into the thickest part registers 145°F (63°C). Total cook time will depend on the thickness of the tenderloin.
  9. Remove the pork from the oven and let it rest on a cutting board for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing against the grain.

Notes

  • For an even quicker meal, sear the pork in an oven-safe skillet on the stovetop for 2 minutes per side before glazing and baking.
  • If you prefer a thicker sauce, you can simmer the leftover glaze in a small saucepan over medium heat until it reduces slightly after the pork is done.
  • This recipe works well for a sheet pan dinner; add quick-cooking vegetables like asparagus or green beans to the pan during the last 15 minutes of cooking.
