Make this rich, fudgy hot fudge brownie bread from scratch. This recipe delivers a moist, dense loaf packed with chocolate flavor and swirled with hot fudge sauce for an irresistible, decadent treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box (18.3 oz) fudge brownie mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup canola oil
  • 1 (12 oz) jar hot fudge sauce, divided
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray a standard 9×5 inch loaf pan generously with cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the entire box of brownie mix, the 3 eggs, the canola oil, and one jar (12 oz) of the hot fudge sauce.
  3. Mix the ingredients until the batter is smooth and fully combined. Do not overmix.
  4. Pour the brownie batter evenly into the prepared loaf pan.
  5. Bake for 55 to 65 minutes. Check for doneness by inserting a toothpick into the center; it should come out mostly clean, indicating a fudgy texture rather than a cakey one.
  6. Remove the loaf from the oven and let it cool completely in the pan on a wire rack. Cooling fully helps maintain the fudgy structure.
  7. Once cool, remove the loaf from the pan. Warm the remaining jar of hot fudge sauce slightly until pourable.
  8. Pour the warmed fudge topping over the cooled loaf, allowing it to drizzle down the sides. Let the topping set before you slice and serve your warm chocolate treat.

Notes

  • To achieve the best fudgy texture, avoid baking longer than necessary. A few moist crumbs clinging to the toothpick mean it is done.
  • For an extra rich chocolate experience, fold in 1/2 cup of chocolate chips with the batter before pouring it into the pan.
  • Serve this dessert bread slightly warm for the most gooey experience.
