Ingredients
Scale
1 package (12 count) King’s Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Keep the Hawaiian rolls connected in their original packaging or place them tightly together in an 8×8 inch baking dish. Do not separate the rolls.
In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create the garlic butter.
Carefully pour the garlic butter mixture evenly over the top of the connected rolls. Use a pastry brush to spread the butter into the crevices between the rolls if needed.
Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese evenly over the top of the rolls. Then, sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the mozzarella layer.
Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil.
Bake for 12 minutes covered.
Remove the foil and bake for an additional 3 to 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and lightly golden brown.
Let the rolls cool for 2 minutes before serving. Pull the rolls apart to serve immediately.
Notes
For extra flavor, add 1/4 teaspoon of onion powder to the garlic butter mixture.
If you do not have fresh parsley, you can substitute with 1 teaspoon of dried parsley flakes.
This recipe works well as a simple side for pasta or soup.
