Ingredients
Scale
24 Hawaiian sweet rolls
12 slices deli ham
12 slices Swiss cheese
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom halves in a 9×13 inch baking dish.
Layer 6 slices of ham over the bottom rolls, followed by 6 slices of Swiss cheese. Repeat with the remaining ham and cheese.
Place the top halves of the rolls over the cheese.
In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Pour the butter mixture evenly over the tops of the rolls.
Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil.
Bake for 20 minutes.
Remove the foil and bake for another 5-10 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Let the sliders rest for a few minutes before slicing them apart and serving.
Notes
For make-ahead convenience, assemble the sliders, cover tightly, and refrigerate for up to 24 hours before baking. Add an extra 5-10 minutes to the covered baking time if baking from chilled.
You can substitute cheddar cheese or provolone for Swiss cheese.
Add a sprinkle of poppy seeds to the butter mixture for extra flavor.
