Ingredients
Scale
1 (750 ml) bottle chilled Champagne or Prosecco
1 cup chilled white grape juice
1 cup chilled ginger ale or lemon-lime soda
1 cup sliced fresh strawberries
1/2 cup fresh raspberries
1 orange, thinly sliced
1/4 cup pomegranate seeds (optional garnish)
Instructions
Chill all liquid ingredients thoroughly before starting.
In a large punch bowl, combine the chilled Champagne, white grape juice, and ginger ale or soda. Stir gently to mix.
Add the sliced strawberries, raspberries, and orange slices to the punch bowl.
If making ahead, chill the base mixture (without the Champagne) for up to 4 hours. Add the Champagne just before serving.
Garnish the top of the punch with pomegranate seeds for extra color.
Serve immediately in glasses filled with ice, ensuring each serving gets some fruit.
Notes
For an extra festive look, freeze some berries onto a bundt pan ring with a little water to create an ice ring that keeps the punch cold without diluting it quickly.
If you want a pink champagne punch, substitute the white grape juice with cranberry juice or use a pink sparkling wine.
This recipe serves a crowd, making it a great large batch cocktail recipe for parties.
