A simple 4-ingredient dipping sauce for potstickers that balances salty, tangy, and spicy flavors. Adjust the heat to your preference. This sauce keeps well in the refrigerator for weeks.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili garlic sauce (or more, to taste)

Instructions

  1. Combine soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and chili garlic sauce in a small bowl.
  2. Whisk until well combined.
  3. Taste and add more chili garlic sauce if you prefer more heat.
  4. Serve immediately with your favorite dumplings or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.

Notes

  • For a milder sauce, start with 1/4 teaspoon of chili garlic sauce and add more as needed.
  • You can substitute black vinegar for rice vinegar for a deeper flavor.
  • This sauce is also great with spring rolls, potstickers, or as a marinade.
