Make this irresistible, creamy dill dip using fresh dill. It is a quick appetizer perfect for game days, parties, or serving with fresh vegetables and chips.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the sour cream and Greek yogurt until smooth.
  2. Add the chopped fresh dill, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the bowl.
  3. Stir all ingredients together until they are fully incorporated and the dip is uniform in color and texture.
  4. For the best flavor, cover the bowl and chill the dip in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving. This allows the fresh dill flavor to bloom.
  5. Serve your creamy dill dip with your favorite vegetables, chips, or crackers.

Notes

  • For an extra tangy flavor, substitute up to half of the sour cream with finely chopped dill pickles, drained well.
  • If you prefer a richer dip, replace the Greek yogurt entirely with full-fat sour cream or cream cheese.
  • You can prepare this dip up to 24 hours in advance; the flavor deepens overnight.
