A quick and easy steakhouse-style mushroom side dish, perfect for your next steak night.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add mushrooms and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute more until fragrant.
  4. Stir in butter, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook until butter is melted and mushrooms are coated.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in fresh parsley.
  6. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For best results, use a cast-iron skillet.
  • You can substitute other herbs like chives or thyme.
  • Serve these mushrooms with your favorite steak or chicken dish.
