A simple, layered no-bake dessert featuring a pecan crust, creamy cheesecake filling, pudding, and a sweet cherry topping. Perfect for potlucks and holidays.

  • 1 ½ cups crushed pecans
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 (3.4 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling

Instructions

  1. Combine crushed pecans and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a 9×13 inch pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, beat together softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping until well combined.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the pecan crust.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and milk until thickened.
  6. Pour the pudding mixture over the cream cheese layer.
  7. Spread the cherry pie filling evenly over the pudding layer.
  8. Cover the pan and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
  9. Slice and serve chilled.

Notes

  • For cleaner slices, chill the dessert for at least 6 hours or overnight.
  • You can make this dessert a day in advance.
  • Substitute graham cracker crumbs for pecans for a different crust flavor.
