A sparkling, non-alcoholic punch perfect for fall parties and Thanksgiving gatherings. This easy recipe features a make-ahead base and festive garnishes.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups apple cider
  • 2 cups cranberry juice
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 teaspoon whole cloves
  • 1 (2-liter) bottle ginger ale, chilled
  • Fresh cranberries, orange slices, and cinnamon sticks for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, combine apple cider, cranberry juice, orange juice, fresh orange juice, lemon juice, cinnamon sticks, and whole cloves.
  2. Heat the mixture over medium heat until warm, but do not boil.
  3. Remove from heat, discard cinnamon sticks and cloves, and let the base cool completely.
  4. Chill the base in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight.
  5. Just before serving, pour the chilled punch base into a punch bowl.
  6. Slowly add the chilled ginger ale.
  7. Garnish with fresh cranberries, orange slices, and cinnamon sticks.
  8. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a make-ahead option, prepare the punch base up to 2 days in advance and store it covered in the refrigerator.
  • Add the ginger ale just before serving to maintain its sparkle.
  • Adjust the sweetness by adding a little honey or maple syrup to the base if desired.
  • This punch can be easily scaled up for larger gatherings.
