A simple dump cake with apple pie flavor, perfect for fall gatherings. It uses minimal ingredients and is baked in one pan.

  • 1 can (21 ounces) apple pie filling
  • 1 box (15.25 ounces) yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • Optional: caramel sauce, vanilla ice cream for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Pour the apple pie filling into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. Evenly sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix over the apple pie filling.
  4. Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix, ensuring it is evenly distributed.
  5. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
